WHO WE ARE
Mission for Community Development (MCODE) is a non-profit making, non partisan, non-governmental organisation based in Uganda and was registered with the Non-Governmental Organizations Board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2009.
MCODE is also registered with the Buikwe District Local Government. More information about MCODE can be found here.
MCODE collaborates with diverse partners on the design of sustainable rural health and development solutions through empowering, networking, advocacy, education support, provision of information and raising awareness among families.
WHAT WE DO
MCODE supports and initiates innovative projects with a mission to save and improve lives of those in need with a priority on children and women. MCODE was founded to help provide formal education, health promotion, clean drinking water, HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support, poverty alleviation, hygiene & sanitation and vocational skills training.
Besides the regular long term programmes MCODE also works on different short term projects in the area of health, hygiene & sanitation, women empowerment, support of vulnerable children and many more, depending on the availability of funds and sponsorships.
